About Wilco Disposal

Wilco Disposal has been a part of the Foothills since 2014, starting with the wholesale of live Christmas trees and local retail at the parking lot of STAPLES in Okotoks as Mountain View Christmas Trees. We grew into waste management in 2016 and now offer a full range of services to our customers.

We have a real commitment to reducing our impact on the environment and accomplish this with a pre-sorting operation. Loads with a large portion of non-landfill material like wood, recyclables or metal are separated before tipping. This is done at no additional cost to the customer and sees an average of 50% diversion by volume from the landfill. We're excited to see this process scaled up and made more efficient so we can maximize the amount of waste we are able to keep from the landfill.
